Is Artex dangerous?

Older Artex can contain trace asbestos. We treat any unknown Artex as suspect, and encapsulate or test as appropriate.

Can you scrape it all off?

Where it is safe and practical, yes. Otherwise we encapsulate and overboard. Either gives a flawless finish.

How messy is it?

Less than you would think. We sheet up, vacuum at source and clear away as we go. Houses stay liveable.

How long does a ceiling take?

Typical bedroom ceiling is a single day to remove and re-skim, with drying time before paint.
